We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a three-year market research services contract from the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. The contract, which begins on August 1, 2013, includes the option for two additional one-year extensions. Services to be provided include managing marketing and product research studies and regular analysis of Lottery sales trends, games, promotions and player demographics.
We are quite excited to support the Maryland Lottery’s mission of generating revenue that funds a variety of so many good causes which benefit the citizens of Maryland. We look forward to assisting the Lottery in their marketing and promotional activities over the next several years.
The Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Control Agency is an independent agency of the State of Maryland. It was established by the General Assembly and approved by voters in 1972. The Lottery’s current product portfolio includes on-line or terminal games and instant win or scratch off games. The Maryland Lottery’s core mission is to generate revenue that helps support a variety of programs in Maryland including education, public health, public safety, human resources and the environment. Since its inception it has contributed $12.8 billion in revenue to the state and awarded more than $19.8 billion in prizes to players.
